Cheerleaders for Occupation . Reality is if you read PNAC , you'll know there will be an occupation whether there is a RESISTANCE of not , they want permanent BASES there to " project U.S. military power" in region
The Obamanatics who hold out that they're humanitarians.
Well for humanitarians, they don't really seem to care all that much about what happens to the Iraqi people after the US is suppose to leave.
You're making a bet with the lives of millions of Iraqis that a genocide won't occur after a US pullout. If you're wrong, their blood is on YOUR HANDS!
It's a disaster now. The idea of "you broke it, you have to fix it" sounds reasonable, but how does the U.S. fix it? That's what's not clear. The underlying assumption here is that it will be a worse disaster if the U.S. leaves than it already is. I'm just not sure that's the case.
I guess the only way to fix Iraq is to crush the insurgency. But the problem is that even with all its military power the US has a poor record when it comes to counter-insurgency (Vietnam). The problem with Iraq is that these insurgents are in different groups so eliminating one will not bring an end to the violence. I'm sorry to say but more American troops are going to have to die fighting this insurgency because the people of Iraq and the US image abroad depends on it.

Everyone knows we don't have enough troops to, "fix it." What a circular argument.
