  • nice 1 mate i do all my engine transplant my self to in my garden with no garage haha still works though nice tune too

  • good man. you work fast

  • still think you should have got a feature for this one

  • Thanks, yeh it took lots of time to edit.

  • try to use a power tool ..it helps and make it more easy

  • Anybody notice the video is sped up?? maybe 20mins more like!!

  • @darkdestroyerlad

He was showing you how to do it with a 5 min video, he wasn't saying it took him 5 mins, it's clear it was sped up!

  • Nice video, very usefull, thanks!!

  • Your welcome

  • man, an air ratchet would have helped! :p

  • Yes it would but no electric in my garage : (

  • How do you rate the Abba Bike stand, I've been considering getting one for general maintenance work.?

  • It is the best stand....very stable.

  • it would've taken me just bout 2 hours to remove a KTM 200 engine...hmmm....

  • Very good video, I enjoyed that.

I'll be doing the same thing myself soon :o)

  • How long did that take in real time mate?

  • Think it was about 2 hrs

  • like in my work:P

  • Hello mate- nice bike. I would just like to ask which of threads was broken? I have a CBR400 NC29 to tidy up over the winter but one of the bolts holding the exhaust on at the manifold has sheered off & the last owner spack-handedly welded another thread somewhere Near where it should've been... any ideas? Drilling into the head should be my last resort... hopefully

    cheers mate

  • Great video mate. Very different and enjoyable. Nice to see the bosley road being put to use as well.

  • Cheers

  • oh ok thanks for the answer, i was a little bit confused, there is a shoot right after you place the engine on the car, where i thought the engine was already off. but it is actually still on the frame. most bikes are all in the same case, only big harleys have the gearbox separate right?

  • hi, nice vid, question, im not familiairzed with sport bikes, is the gearbox out the engine of its in the same case??

  • Thanks. The gearbox is inside the engine, so if it ever goes wrong it's a complete strip down.

  • lol what bikes have the gearbox seperate to the engine? cept maybe choppers

  • Buells, harley's old triumphs. Most modern sportsbikes have cartridge gearboxes though. undo the side cover and the main assemblies come straight out for quick changeover and easier ratio changes.

  • nice vid, thanks :)

  • fck i hate carbies =(

  • nice job.....ready for a litle turbine....have you ever thing it???i wish my bike was 4 stroke,but........

  • Thanks.....If I had the money I would try to turbo it lol

  • That was cool only if they really came apart so easy and fast but I enjoy working on them sometimes as much as riding. i guess its the Gear Head in me!

  • lol,yeh I enjoy it in moderation.

  • That was fun to watch ! as A mechanic most of my life I just cant seem to work that fast LOL I thing would come apart that fast some times Thwy do in my head when im going thru the job in my head but it nevar works oyt that way ha ha

  • oh man u really know ur bike! thats the real passion about bikes, not only ride

  • Cheers yeh I like the challenge.

  • nice video - whats the music called used in it?

  • Subliminal Cuts - Le Voie Le Soleil

    nc29biker great vid.

  • Cheers :)

  • Quality watching that! Had to take my VFR400 NC30 Engine out before. Certainly brings back memories of the rusty old bolts that wouldn't come undone and ending up snapping.

    Nice work.

  • Thanks :)

  • Cool vid.

The flats at the end of sandy lane still mate?

Im from the 400greybike forum and had a we chat to you around a year ago on the flats car park.

Lost my licence until november, but im getting another nc29 this winter. :)

  • Yeh am the same guy & I remember you.....Take care & if you want me to check over a bike for you just message me.

  • so how long did that actually take u in real time? interesting watching someone else working.. putting all the bolts back in the threads they come out of, which my coleages don't do.. pisses me off going to put something back together to be confronted with a pile of bolts and bemused looks...

    good work though

  • It took just under 2 hours & that includes warming the engine up so I could drain the oil. I like to have all the nuts & bolts accounted for...more so since I damaged my head in a bike accident some years ago.

  • Nice work, bloody good to watch

  • Glad you like it.

  • lovely video, exact same procedure as when i took my vfr 400 (nc30) engine out. Brought back alot of memories, thanks for sharing this

  • Hahaha cheers, the VFR exhaust are a pig to remove

  • sick video! nice job mate. never saw that before, thanks for sharing this.

    Peace

  • Thanks

  • i had that same can

  • is it me or did the fuel look totally full of dirt

  • Hahaha i'm glad you not working on my bike as that is coolant & it is a little rusty looking.

  • yes im a noob;)

  • that was actually quite cool, nice work

  • Thanks :-)
