If you DO date a single mom, DON'T take her kids with you on your dates, just because you don't have a sitter! She will enjoy the fact that you are so mature and accepting of her kids, but she will NEVER be motivated to date you without bringing them along!

REMEMBER: You aren't dating her kids. You are dating her! Leave the kids out of the picture for as long as possible. Don't even take them out on the picnic (as suggested), until WAY into the relationship -- or ready to propose!

at 1:14 is the prime example most men will not date a single mother. Because of her inability to love 2 people equally will have severed the hamstring of the relationship before it ever started it's run. Men want to be loved just like women do. Would a single woman be so apt to love a man with a child if he stated up front "my child will always be #1"? I seriously doubt it. So women when you are turned down time and time again because you have a child. Accept the fact you are now paying for it.

Exactly, this is why men avoid single mothers, because it is more trouble than it is worth. Men shouldn't be told how to be more appealing to single mothers, but how single mothers would be more appealing to men since it is the single childless man that is in demand, not the single mother.
