@Markkreyes personally, thats what i loved about the slower, more melancholy version. Sure thats not necessarily their style, but with the album version, they proved (at least they did to me) that they could pull of the slower more, i guess somber, songs.

It proved their versatility basically, where as this version feels blended with the rest of their faster songs. It doesn't give it that umph to stand out like the song deserves. I mean, it is an amazing song after all.

Im so glad i found the demo version. I saw GIAC in 2006 in Laredo, TX. I made a cd for my ex with this song. I kind of want to slap myself for introducing her to indie music. She now calls herself "deep and artistic." She listened to chopped and screwed rap before that, and shes German. Well this is obviously a loaded song for me lol
