So beautiful! I have to disagree with 8Bill though. Natalie is singing about her own truths-one of the reasons I think we connect with this song. These lyrics sound contemplative, a bit sad, perhaps a bit regretful but with acceptance. it is like she is opening her heart up to truth and love and kindness. She is not judging or reprimanding. She is not presuming to know what is right for everyone else. Simply what is right for her. This is what is so divinely wonderful about this song.

She has a great point with this song. I first heard it on a movie with Woody Harrison It was called Go Farther it is about Organic living and it is an amazing movie. Anyone that is intersected in Organic living should really site and watch it. I am not into Documentaries but this was one that I could watch over and over again

Maybe one of the most powerful acoustic songs recorded by a female singer/songwriter in many years. Nicely appropriate for these images - the song always makes me feel deeply patriotic about my own country. Oh it's just so painfully beautiful....
