I hate this piece.. I remember having heard it for the first time in Contemporary Music History..

I love this piece. And the singing is not out of tune. It is a type of speech singing invented by Schoenberg called Sprechtstimme. That's what its supposed to sound like.

This is amazing in that it's so unique, could you believe all notes are still in tune? believe it or not, they are.
