  • Actually, when you pushed yourself up and into the truck...It wasn't just "all in the shoulders". Just sayin'

  • I have the same truck. It would be much easier to open the back door and put the chair in that way rather than bringing it across your lap to put it in the back.

  • you should try putting one foot in the truck first,makes it way easier.I always put my right foot in first,then pull my left leg in after.try it.

  • Why not to use the "Abiloader" from New Zealand, you can find it working on youtube search. It makes that transfer lot easier, faster and healthy!

  • I don't have brakes on my wheelchair either. You are so right. It is all in the shoulders. As long as you have shoulder strength you can do a lot of transfers and move around pretty easily.
