I"m sure you know, or maybe you don't, but if you manage to destroy the arms on both sides of the dude directly before the boss you get a 1up when you kill the centerpiece. :D

I do know this, I just happened to have stayed in the center for too long, and did too much damage before managing to kill off the left side. I was saddened because it was my best run I did on stage 3.

Yes, but the version you see here is the PS2 port

Its an arcade game in Japan. PCB's still go for quite a bit, they are JAMMA standard. I am playing the PS2 Import, arrange mode, which is easier than Maniac mode, but harder than original mode.
