My 2003 Silverado SS is getting its 408 stroker removed

i own the same ss silverado truck in the garage in this video with the 408 stroker with the 2800 stall converter and awd witch makes it a pretty mean truck

A 4.8L with turbo for that truck???? its a small engine for it im sorry the numbers you expect wont be reached unless you invest lots of money into that thing even yet those numbers wont be a match to the same trucks

@yamaha3595 408 had issues, had to be pulled and it was to much money to be rebuilt at the time. I ended up selling everything and to a different route, truck will be back up in a month or two ill get some vids up

@sayer308 Like i said, the 408 had to come out and it was going to cost to much to be fixed, also it was a lq9 not a lq4. Turbo kit was already sitting around and a friend had a 4.8 for basically free

Hey bro, what was you cam specs at the begenning of you clip, i love the sound of that lope... are you able to use a 4.8/5.3 block to make a stroker? i was told the cyclender walls are too thin...

the cam was a 228 duration 588 lift 112 lsa, the cam was way to small for the stroker worked well in the stock 6.0 but wasent enough for this motor, u can go up to a 383 with the 4in crank like i used in my 408 and the cylinder walls board to ls1 specs (3.9xx) in a 4.8/5.3 block
