I like C&C series but Tiberium Wars is one that i like to get my money back. I'ts just not fun to play. Creators have pushed games visual side but game itself just not fun anymore. Actualy Tiberium Wars is frustrating because some levels are klick and kill walkthru the map and others are absolutly impossibly frustrating when enemy pushes constantly 10 units against every 1 your unit.

Even though I believe Westwood is the true almighty, I am a little upset by the fanatical fans. They are unable to acknowledge a good game. Tiberium Wars is AMAZING! This game was great until the updates, the updates made NOD able to take on GDI head on and win, and both Scrin and GDI got way underpowered. I agree the Avatar was way too expensive, and the Mammoth was a bit overwhelming, but making an Avatar pretty much equal in a fight and less costly than a Mammoth is stupid.

3:00, I don't agree with that at all. The game got EASIER not harder when the Avatar was introduced. Earlier in the game you had to rely pretty much on overwhelming force in order to beat GDI. Things got easer when the Avatar balanced things out.

on my main computer i have xp with a Radeon HD saphhire 3850 which plays it on high so it should work. and if you can play RA3 you can play Cnc3. vista just has directX10 which would make a little difference.

I can't tell if you're graphics card is good or not im used to Nvidia. but if you're processor is 2 cores then you're fine but if its single you'll lag all over. Rams fine, good luck.

Man, this game is totaly overrated!

After playing a skirmish game in it I just stopped loving C&C and Westwood, And I was a HUGE fan. IT seems like they took away everything that was good in the game except Kane(Best EVER!), and added some actors taht I respect. Where are the Robots? The Mutants? the spreadind catastrophy of tiberium? THE VISCEROIDS?! The gas masks and ani-radiation suits? The earth is f*king toxic,whats going on?! Even Since Westwood got with EA, its a slow RIP.

There are Visceroids in CNC3, but they only appear when you use the Scrin toxin thingy guy xD But oh well. Big fucking deal some shits missing, it doesn't change the fact the game is still fun to play, the online is extremely competitive. If you're so worried about there being no Cyborgs, pick up Kanes Wrath then. The economy is..irritatingly slow but the game is still fun.

My advice would be warcraft3, although in pc-terms it's quite old already. Age of Em pire is my second best. What really struck me was this game, it looks fantastic, and you don't need a kick-ass system to have all the eye candy.

pretty funny since as of 1.09, the final patch. the Avatar is not only cheaper, its capable of beating the Mammoth and the Tripod in late game fairely easily because now its the heaviest unit in the game with 12500 HP compared to 10000 of the Mammoth. it has longer range and 25% more firepower than before. it literally chews Mammoth tanks and Tri Pods while even stealth tanks with their 66% increase in damage can get some tier 3 kills. Nod is way overpowered now, way overkill.

The HUDs are setup based on the controlls, the PC HUD is perfect for the PC cause it's how they've always done it, but if they used the PC HUD for the 360 it would fuck everything up. The 360's is like that for a reason, it makes it easier to control.

Do NOT buy this game for it's presentation. The game's cutscenes fall flat on their faces compared with earlier games like Red Alert 1 & 2 or even the original C&C. The writing is simply atrocious with the actors talking directly to the camera (and not eachother) nearly 100% of the time. I got literally sick of hearing different versions of "go get em commander!" on literally every mission briefing.

Let's not kid ourselves and pretend that much of the appeal of C&C games doesn't come from it's live motion cutscenes - which *usually* flesh out the story and makes the game more interesting. Sadly in C&C 3 this is not the case. The reason I put so much emphasis on the story is many of the reviews I read utterly failed to point this out - and I think anyone who's going to shell out $40 based on this perception deserves to know this.
