Rule Number One of NBA 2K, never, NEVER, guard the opposing ballhandler. Just guard their PF or C, keep them out of the paint and box out for the rebounds. Or if you're bad at that, just guard the wings so that they don't get open 3s. Never play on-ball defense, always switch to any of the other 4 players. Unless of course, the opponent handling the ball is Derek Fisher.
