For the longest time, I've been convinced that "Drifting Away" was more of a jazzy, J-pop tune then anything else, but listening to more music, it would definitely have to be in the genre of Shibuya Kei.
Shibuya Kei, for those of you interested, is a mix of jazz, electronica, bossa nova, and a bit more. Vocals can be from Japanese to English to French, etc.
Thanks for putting up this version. This might be my favorite version since it's in a higher quality than the GBA one.

I found this on mega microgames for GBA and i just discovered it on Mega Party Game$ for Gamecube. i hope this is on brawl with the other WW tracks.
