@JerOutlaw last season in 55 games he had 10g, was a +2, played on the penalty kill all yr, and had 2 short handed goals along with 4 game winning goals. Pretty good for a "one trick poney". But i guess somehow that's not "contributing" in ur view of hockey. You must be one of those people who thinks if u don't score 20gls a year that ur somehow not an asset to the team. You obviously haven't watched Kaleta play very much. He's not a bitch at all, he's a smart player. Unlike Avery and Ruutu he doesn't take stupid penalties and he doesn't lead his team in penalty minutes. He fights when he has to, but he also draws an obscene amount of penalties by not fighting. Not to mention he's one of the best open ice checkers I have seen in the NHL in the past couple years. He adds an important aspect the Sabres have been missing the past couple seasons- toughness.
