  • I remember taping this song off a San Francisco radio station when I was there back in 1981. I just love this song!

  • This is old school. Good old Clint E, who played in all the great western movies.

And "Hangin em High" was one of them. Clint was the best.

  • SO COOL SO COOL SO COOL SO COOL

  • If the past decade had much to offer, I wouldn't be digging this deep for brilliance. Chinese Checkers and Soul Dressing are amazing!

  • i played this album so much in 1968 and i still love it

  • Wow best ever I have it on real to real. can't play it anymore player died.

  • just fab 10/10.

  • I trust Dominic Frontiere (now 80) got to hear this version?

  • Simply...outstanding!

  • HANG 'EM HIGH! The Mil-lion-aire .... And his Wife! And Gilligan And Gilligan, And Giiligan, And Gilligan!

  • Just one of the coolest sounds ever. Booker Taliaferro Jones and the MG's. The MG's included Donald "Duck" Dunn....and Steve Cropper. Too cool for the people!!

  • Might take a while to find it, but sure!

  • I bought the original 45 when it came out. Cost 79 cents retail back then. Still have it.

I have about a dozen Booker T and the MG's.

  • @38Lasalle5019 Wanna sell it?

  • Der Song ist einfach nur cool...eines der besten Lieder von Booker T Jones.

  • 1:46 Is my favorite part. It just gets more & more climactic as it goes!

  • funny enough drno2150, i was also listening in the dark in Florida! i didnt know anything about spagetti westerns or Clint Eastwood but the music had a haunting undertone and the title spoke of a hanging - it created quite an eerie sensation on a child's active imagination

  • The most pulsating instrumental of all time.

  • Booker T. and the M.G.'s were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

  • starts off slow and the you can get funky with it from the middle to the end:)

  • It's not just smooth, it lifts you up.

  • KICK ASS SONG , KISS ASS FLICK !

  • imagine, listening to this song, in your dark bedroom in'68...I grew up in Wisconsin I think it was on KOMA (Ok City) Take that Kids

  • Kick-ass song.

  • Good selection as always, Boz!
