Although I must disagree with them being cheaper. It depends on what your buying. First of the exchange with a US dollar is .74 right now and the dollar blows so ya know. Anyway from my experience, things like video games, computers/parts/acc., camera's are all a bit more expensive. For example I bough a G9 Logitech Mouse like 5 years ago for a hundred dollars, went to Japan 2 months ago and I saw it for 120.
Oh man I found this mall in Harborland Kobe it had a softmap on the entire top floor. Like the size of 2 wallmarts. The 2nd to top was just sports like 3 Sports Authorities lol
I have always heard that consumer electronics in Japan are dirt cheap. You did not do any talking on here so I was not sure what things cost in relation to the USA. Can you please tell me how they compare to here? I was also wondering about censorship there. Does the government control in the internet, book etc?
@lidsman2221 Thanks for your comment. There is so much competition among the major electronics stores that you can pick things up pretty cheap. Specifically what kind of electronics would you like to know the prices for? I will check it out. There is no censorship here except for porn in which certain body parts are mosaiced out.
