I've always bumped into people who hate Labrie live, and I can certainly understand why. I don't personally think that he's that amazing live, but prefer his vocals on the albums. However, and this can't be denied, he has an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. vocal range. In other words: not always my cup of tea, but he DOES have the skills, no doubt about it.

I think it's funny how Portnoy, Rudess, Myung and Petrucci are all endorsee's of all kinds of major instrument brands and gear (Ernie Ball, Dimarzio, Tama, Korg, Mesa Boogie, etc) but LaBrie's gear is just a cheap plastic kettle, some bottled water and a bowl of bananas :P
