@StormsongK This is a K station because it got its call letters before the geographic designation. Hence, WKY in Oklahoma City, etc. There are a few here and there.
@jescis0 I do seem to remember things may have been at a slower pace in the 80's when compared to today, but then I'm remembering the world from a child's POV so I maybe wrong? Still, 5 minutes is nothing when it comes to cooking.

A K station in Pittsburgh? Was this an exception or a different Pittsburgh? Normally it's W east of the Mississippi (or thereabouts) and K west.
