Look at Mairi Cambell's version for help with the pronunciation! Good that you stuck with original tune !

A point to note it's "Auld Lang Syne" with an 'S' in the Syne, not a 'Z' as seems to be common with folks outside Scotland.

FYI..where I come from (NE of Scotland), "Syne" is still a common word, and it means "lately" or "recently" depending on the context, so in the context of the tune "Auld Lang Syne" means "Old Times Past"
