They clearly aren't lip syncing - the engineers wouldn't let the track that they're lip syncing to get so off right at the end. And I mean off in the best way, they just sing their ending licks at different times (it happens a little bit all thru the performance, their time isn't perfect). Glee recordings are always recorded to be "perfect" with pitch and time, and this isn't. It's awesome regardless - perfect is no good anyways lol

They were singing. I think the sad reality is that this generation is so used to singers that can't sing at all that they fully expect lip synching live.

here's the reality: The recording autotunes Chris's voice, I can hear it, especially near the end. There was no autotuning. On top of that, Lea missed a couple of notes.

@twyladora I have to disagree. I listen to this song ALL the time and they don't sound the same, especially Lea. You hear the difference. They're not perfectly in sync towards the end, their notes are not as perfect, they emphasize some of the words differently. Don't forget Lea was on Broadway and Chris always sounds amazing live, so of course they're going to sound close to the original.
