im 14 years old and i love video games. I created a game by using C# and it was text based. i know alot about video game graphics that when i talk to my friends about video games I have to explain to them every detail i know. C# is great for making games for PC, xbox, and zune.

I want to become a level designer, i live in Norway and i'm 14 years old, and i can draw, but i'm not so creative so i need to look at something to draw it, also a level designer job isn't to come up with a consept for the game is it? that's the Game Design leader isn't it? i REALLY want to work in a game industry, but i'm a little scared of things like getting pushed by the other guys in the company to hurry up with the level designs or something, do i get to learn EVERYTHING i can do?

@drawingdude4711 I am in the games industry and I'm a year older than you. I have been studying level design since I was 7 so I have a few tips. Get used to dead lines my dead line is usually an hour for basic design then another hour for brush-up. Get used to a range of different tools from UDK to a 2D mario level editor. You'll start off small in a indie team then work your way up you don't jump into games like this. If you want some experience you can always work with me to create a game.

Good game, get alittle boreing after killing splices thought like 3 lvls... but the last 2 lvls are worth the wait, lol. Love the game hope to more in Bioshock 3

Probably the only big problem I had with Bioshock was that you couldn't go back to previous areas and it has a much more linear structure in some ways. True, it's not like I actually revisited areas in the first game, but knowing that a level will be closed off when I leave it makes me compulsively waste time by scouring the empty level for any missed items or secrets.

Very cool series. Very entertaining & informative. I figured the only way to produce such an awesome game was to have a workflow like theirs that requires each department to work together through out the development process instead of just doing their own thing & then trying to make it all fit together at the end.

Well, I don't know much about NM, but I'm sure you could ask your counselors about these sort of things. Just make sure you don't go to a research school, or even if you do, make sure that their programs are what you actually want. Go to your university websites and read about the 4 year plans for the majors, read what classes are offered and what classes you can take and read about the career outlook. Good luck.

I love these guys they came through with a great game and a game that is replayable. That is what most game companies can't do, is make a game have replayablility. But these guys did a great job, I have played through 2 times so far and going to play through again.
