Vampires, may be an old legend but in the victorian era they were used to talk about sexual deviancy, when overtly writing about the subject was taboo, since then vampires have been of ambiguous morality, very sexual and often very violent, I think anything that defies this convention abandons what made them interesting in the first place, the contrast between night and daytime personalities etc even though we can discuss those subjects without needing to disguise it.

I think this was their best album. They have such a different sound to them now, and like a complete new message they're trying to get across.

I remember seeing them at Warped Tour, and chilling with Steve before they played, hahaha I made him kiss me on the forehead after I kissed his forehead. It was pretty rad.
