  • perfect! ice cube and billy joel, love it!

  • wow u got some good taste :O

  • You should submit these videos to Guiness! You've probably broken the record for most LPs owned, by an individual person. Only record stores can compete with you!

  • @AestheticFlavor LOL thanks man! I wish that was the case but I am actually far from it. If you type in Worlds largest record collect you will see a guy who has collection of 2.5 million ! lol Just crazy! Another one of my pals here on youtube that goes by "Collectorofmusic" has over 8500. I am sitting at a tiny 3000 lol

Thanks for watching. Check those other vids out. I think you will really like them and it will make your jaw drop lol.

  • I would gave her a divorce personally, hahaha:D but you must be a lucky man cause your wife loves the same music as you.I find smash and nevermind extremely overrated

  • @placebo150 I could see the "overrated" perspective on Smash but not so much on Nevermind.

  • @mrhoffame i'd say its sorta like stairway to heaven, overplayed; not overrated

  • Amazing collection. My wife listens mostly to female vocalists. Her vinyl favorites are mostly from the 70's and 80's in the early years of our marriage. I'll put it on my list to do a video of the stuff she listened to back then, and still listens to since I transfer her favorite vinyl to CD.

  • love yr collection man.mines not as big but one day was just wondering how many do u have.would love to be able just thru yr collection.lol

  • @musicman257 I have about 2400 lp, 460 45s, 1100 tapes, and 1050 cd. I was just talking with my mom about my music room this weekend. I was telling her that I could remember just 4 years ago that all I had was 10 lps and no turntable lol.

  • @mrhoffame look at mine's

  • love yr collection man.i have one two not as big as yrs but i have about 700.but i guess u have to sart somwhere.was wondering do u have any kiss and creedence that what im big on collection but love the 70s thru early 90.metal just rules

  • awesome picks.

  • Master of Puppets is a unbelievable album, I've been listening to it heavily since it came out in 86' and still am to this day, Would loved to have heard your wife explain why it is her favorite album?

  • @beano1eye You know she didn't even listen to metal until she met me. We did talk about that one time and one of things she said was that Metallica, as heavy as they are, seemed a lot more "musical" than most other metal bands. She like the underlying melodies that Metallica seems to have under the hard thrash that jumps out at you. It can't hurt that the first concert I took her to was Metallica. James bent down, handed her a guitar pick, and shook her hand lol.

  • @mrhoffame yeah it definitely possesses melody, especially Welcome Home (Sanitarium) that's a pretty cool story about Hetfield handing her a pick, You guys must have been front row, Metallica have just announced they are touring here in Australia, can't wait they always play a great show down here!

  • @beano1eye Oh yes my friend...we were front row and it was awesome. Have you seen them before? I have seen them twice on the Death Magnetic tour and it is so Awesome!!! Make sure you check them out if you can. It is worth every dime!

  • amerikkkas most wanted

    yaa!!

  • Fabulous! She's the perfect record presenter!

  • Being that I am for the most part an Anglo-file when it comes to my musical taste, I differ with the majority of your picks as favorite picks; but then again, that is why they are favorite picks. lol--Having said that, I think that your vinyl copy of R.E.M's Document album is awesome! Admittedly, R.E.M is one of the few American bands that I esteem equally with my U.K favs; especially their early stuff.

  • Don't hold out on me!!!! I'm always open to hearing about new bands. Who are your favorites you think I should check out? Which songs?

  • @mrhoffame: Forgive me for not taking the time to answer your inquiry earlier, but when referring to some of my favorite U.K stuff, I must say that I am quite a big fan of The Jam and The Style Council. Unless you already knew, The Jam was the biggest Mod revivalist band coming out of England in the late 70's to early 80's. Even though the Jam where big with their punk/ mod sound, they later branched out into fusing a little funk with their music as is evident in their great last album 'The Gift

  • @mrhoffame Now, once The Jam broke up in 1983, Paul Weller (vocalist; aka: Mod Father) branched out into new territory with his newly formed group, The Style Council, which was a band that focused primarily on producing a new Northern Soul type sound. There are many great and diverse songs The Style Council put out and probably their biggest hit around the world was, 'My Ever Changing Moods.' Another outstanding track is the Jazzy, 'Paris Match' and the Disco sounding 'Shout To The Top.'

  • Very cool, your wife has great taste too! I agree with all her picks! Touches on a bit of everything...keeps music interesting! Nice to see she shares your love of music too!

  • can't believe she would like some rap music like ice cube!!!!

  • Gotta have it lol!! Besides..Ice Cube sampled from a lot old funk and R & B music! Hard to love classic R & B and Funk and not like ice cube! I love his stuff myself.

  • Haha, I can see why you married her. I get most of my vinyl from flea markets for $0.25-$0.50 each. However, most of it is classic stuff. Where do you go for the more modern albums?

  • I travel a lot so every time I hit a new town I am on the net looking for shops in that area. Once I find one they usually direct me to another. I've bought vinyl in over 30-35 different cities. Ebay and Gemm have also been great places. It's pretty cool when something like my Megadeth "Symphony of Destruction" came from Sweden lol! My master of puppets from Japan. Ebay is great way to find a ton of stuff. Check it out . Thanks for viewing!!

  • great stuff guys !
