when did I say "I turn around COMPLETELY" ? I didn't, way to ASSUME I did. I turn around SLIGHTLY for a fraction of a second over my left shoulder, then drive forward into the other lane when I see it's safe and clear. I was taught to do that in Drivers ED, so it's perfectly safe.

When I back up, I turn around and look over my right shoulder so I can see out the back and get into my parking spot...
