Hey you have some nice maneuvering skills man!! the only thing id advise, even though I may not have the right too, would be to use the advanced flight mode to line ur shots off. You constantly get behind ur target but fire missles when ur not aiming ur plane's nose right on him, and it causes the missles to have to arc in a catch up. It gives more time for the target to maneuver away and get a chance to doge ur shots!!! Sorry if this pissed u off I was just tryin to help!

I played a demo of this game.

The assistance off mode is so confusing.

I'm used to the in the 1st person view.

5:55 maneuver is called DRIFT. You brake a little bit at the same time you climb or dive, and then stop doing both and use the afterburner

Best thing to do is get him to follow you,the apply full break and turn around and fire a salvo

if they also put manual lock on missiles then

@igm293 its a very short range weapon, its only supposed to use when you are completely out of rockets and have to get in close to do some dirty fighting

I only got that maneuver if I played with regular controls and went into stall. I could never get that sudden drop with expert controls.

is that the tomcat or the super tomcat, i really can't tell, either way, i say you could use your shots so much better, if you used all aspect missles, waited for your lock and waited for the red arrow to go long, you almost always have a hit, only exception is if they use flares. but i must say, very nice use of assistance off mode.

Yeah, I always use All Aspects. It always hits, bad thing is that it doesn't do a lot of damage and only targets around 1000m.

Assistance Off strikes me as something to appeal to people who don't normally play jet games. It just isn't for me, and it has nothing to do with being good or bad at it. It's just a view I find silly.

I play a LOT of TDM. Anyone can check my profile for videos using most jets in the game. Also, a tip: don't fire a missile as soon as you get a lock. You'll waste many that way. Use your maneuvering and fire tactically. You'll stay alive longer and kill more.

How do you roll upside down in assistance off? When I play in ass. of, my plane just turns to left or right...

Pull / push down on the Left thumbstick. If you need to get your plane to roll into an even steeper roll, hold down the Left trigger. This will more than likely cause your plane to stall, so you'll need to recover from that by jamming on the throttle while you straighten out your plane.

How many online maps ?

How many planes and in online mode can u only play co-op and Team Deathmatch ?

there are 18 missions so i assume there's 18 maps.

right now MP is Co-op and TDM, but they allow you to search for game modes so hopefully that means they'll release more modes.

AFA planes IIRC 64 are available as you unlock them.
