Not all of the have brown eyes. My parents had a chocolate dachshund with green eyes and a red with amber colored eyes. I have a dapple with 1 blue eye.

I have a smooth black and tan mini. The first night she was with us she just burrowed under the blankets and went to sleep at bedtime and she has done it every time she has gone to bed since. She also loves to burrow in the warm laundry when it comes up from the dryer and go to sleep. That is REALLY cute.

I wish i could live in a couch anyway my dog lives in a pillow and shes a beagle cross and its soo cute came home one day to find a giand pillow hollowed out and a nose sticking out of the hole anf fluff all over the floor

That is the cutest thing i have ever seen. I have a dachshund, and she likes to sleep in the closet. she is a short hair. I've always wanted a long hair though! :)

@KurlieBeautie I actually have never taken her to the groomers and she is 4 years old now! I comb her daily and wash her monthly and her coat has stayed silky smooth! :)

It's actually instinctual for dachshunds to burrow, they were mainly used by many in the past to dig out rodents.
