I went there this past summer. It's basically a tilted shack. Even the floors inside the shack is aligned along the side of the hill. So if you step inside the shack, gravity is just pulling you downhill.

It's called a tilt induced optical illusion. We have them in Britain, hills where stuff roll up and the like. They're normally natural though because no one here would be stupid enough to pay to see one and if you told them gravity was messed up or an alien spaceship is buried there they'd punch you and steal your shoes.

Okay, you guys. Read this. The house is built on a hill, but the foundation is built flat. Next, build everything on the house on a slant. Top it off, have the board pointing "up". When you place a ball on the board, it seems as if it is pointing up, but since the house is flat and it is on a hill it will roll amazingly "up" the board. This is why the board is flat when he puts the leveling tool on it. Not some weird magic, just a physics trick ; )

Okay, you guys. Read this. The house is built on a hill, but the foundation is built flat. Next, build everything on the house on a slant. Top it off, have the board pointing "up". When you place a ball on the board, it seems as if it is pointing up, but since the house is flat and it is on a hill it will roll amazingly "up" the board. This is why the board is flat when he puts the leveling tool on it. Not some weird magic, just a physics trick ; )

Correct...look at how tall the fences are. No chance of seeing the horizon when inside the gates.
It would be a great tourist attraction if they didn't scam people out of thier money to go there and lie to them about the 'vortex.'

@pastpanda Dude you are soo right, in my country Mexico (specifiacally in Mex City) theres a place called "la cabaña del tio chueco" (the twisted uncle cabin) and they have the same atractions, including the pool table and the weights on the ceiling. This tourist spot is part of one of our national recreational parks and its been there for more than 40 years.

I know there is a guidance system buried 1000s of years ago at that spot, like a lighthouse to the universe. It screws everything up. You can hear the signal it broadcasts if you use your IPod there.

Oh i went there before my cousin took me and it was really cool I was amazed. You can really feel it its soooo Craaaazy. I agree its not fake you just have to be there to believe it.

I been there 3 times. If this is an illusion they did a good job! I think its real. You can bring your own ball, your own string that hangs at an angle, your own compass that goes crazy. You can walk up the walls. its so crazy. its real!

this cant just be an "illusion". it might be aplified by illusion, but animals do not go in this area, and stay away from a certain radius of this place. and alot of people i went with, their batteries stopped working in their cameras, and if you bring a compass it spins around and doesnt point the right direction. its due to a magnetic field. exactly like in the south and north pole.

ok first of all its hard to explain cuz i aint smart enough but its got to do with perception and the scenery around in ireland were im from there is a hill that things roll up well it looks that way but its got to do with surrounding scenery look it up its real cool to see a car roll up hill and its the same sort of thing in the mystery spot and i will add in my opinion
