@EMDSD40LocoDash2 SAMBA? ARE YOU CRAZY? IT DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING SIMILAR TO SAMBA! SAMBA IS "Turundunturundun tcha tcha KOOIM KOOIM Flooope!" FROM DRUMS, "CUICAS" AND WHISTLES! IT DOESN'T HAVE ANY SENSE. KRAFTWERK = PURE INDUSTRIAL ROCK! Think better before saying that stupid things. 7TH RESULT IF YOU SEARCH FOR "AIRWAVES". HURROO!
Hey man, I said it RESEMBLES samba, not it IS samba. Actually, this is one of my favorite songs from Kraftwerk. You are the supid here because there are many types of samba, not only the one you hear on carnaval.
The carnaval samba is the one with whistles.
The "classic" samba (from the 50's and 60's) resembles very much this song and vice-versa.
For an example of industrial rock, search for "Rammstein - Benzin".
Seeing Kraftwerk played on LP really puts how revolutionary it was into context. These days with so much electronic music coming out of MP3's, it all has a tendency to sound flat and "dated" ... it's not hard to imagine, for those of us raised on cds, what these sounds sounded like coming out of a record player.
Have a little more faith, friend. Idiots abound, but there are so many people, the universe can't help but make some good ones. There will always be a few who appreciate excellence.

You can actually hear one of the Kraftwerk guys say "mach weiter!" (which means "go on!" in English) at 4:16 / 4:17. Great song, fantastic band.

@Toggle64: Never noticed that someone is saying something, but now I hear it. I can't say I hear what's being said though. :)

Great song. I love the sinewave crescendo. Orgasmic.
I could listen to this all day. Surely the band for which the cliche "Ahead of their time" was invented.
