Excellent video! very thorough and superbly edited. Great tip on the draft whole with the Falcons. I've yet to get one but I'll have to pick up one sometime soon. Where do you buy your carnauba wax from? Keep up the great vid's!
I have just checked all of my Falcon stems, and none of them have that "protrusion" that you have just removed.

Can you use any wood stain?

@MrSoccer37 : No. You must use an alcohol based stain/dye. Many pipe makers use Fiebing's Leather dye. I buy mine on-line at sewwhatsupplies.
