  • The soundtrack for this game is amazing. Its ability to switch tempo and style is pure genius.

  • @CvCLegend They did ag reat job on both 'real' and 16bit versions of the music. I was thoroughly impressed.

  • i just started playing this two days ago, i am loving it

    =D

  • @arexx777 Glad to hear it! It's quite a bit of fun. In a couple weeks my PC should have all the hardware I want in it, so I'll be able to do more recordings. While the let's play I'm doing won't be a 100% run, maybe it'll be helpful.

  • Hi, is this game any good? The video doesn't interest me at all.

  • @daphiel1337 This is how the game plays. If the video doesn't interest you, then pass the game up. Thanks for at least checking it out, I guess?

  • @Chronosv2 is the game worth 20 €

ps i did liked the video so that means its good right? :3

  • @guthixpwnz I think it is. If you enjoy the way the game looks and plays, then by all means grab it. Buying it helps show NIS America (or whatever company publishes it in Europe) that there's interest in this kind of game. As for liking the video, I'm glad you enjoyed it. All I can do to show people the game is to talk about it and show gameplay, so if you're deciding whether to buy or not based on the video that's the best I can do.

  • How much is this game on PSN?

  • @TheNimrod425 I'm very sorry it took so long to reply; my laptop has been busted for over a month now and I finally have a working computer. Cladun cost $19.99 USD on the PSN, if memory serves.

  • looks really fun, im not a big fan of rpg but i love zelda games, and this looks like it

  • @Magyar126 Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see where people are getting some of these comparisons (I've seen the Zelda comparison before, along with Castle Crashers); but if you enjoy the game, I'm not about to question your reasoning.

  • @Chronosv2 whos the jackass who compares Castle Crashers(sidescrolling beat em up) with Zelda(Top Down Adventure game)

  • @at0micl0bster Someone wasn't comparing Castle Crashers to Zelda, they were comparing Castle Crashers to Cladun, and the person above compared Zelda games to Cladun. I don't see either comparison though.

  • @Chronosv2 oh ok thanks for telling me :)

  • is this game a umd? or do i download this from psn? i want this game sooo bad!

  • @SuperUltraGokuZ It's a Playstation Network download only, as far as I'm aware.

  • @SuperUltraGokuZ PSN. The game's awesome by the looks of it.

  • Woot i got my dragnade at least :P but im using Raikiri sword(Fatal) and it rocks! this game is a must buy. dont doubt it and buy.

  • I envy your luck for finding that dam sword!!! :<

  • @gd567890dA Just keep leveling up and you can buy it in the shops. The only thing special about it is the "Rise" title but if you have enough fame to buy titled items from the shop you could get one that way.

  • I love the game.

Best RPG I played for years!

  • Which class do you like the best? :P

Because i like playing the Wizard...

    A) ranged attacks

    B) Can become a mana-whore later on

    C) Sp anyone? XD

  • @TheDarkAngelHate rougues pwn :P

  • @chetoAQworlds I don't follow. There is no Rogue class in Cladun.

The classes are Warrior, Dragoon, Guardian, Wizard, Merchant.

  • How do you even get that weapon and youre only lvl 8?!?

Any skills or just pure hack and slash?

  • @fremy123 Something to understand about Cladun: You can re-spec your characters once they hit Level 10. So a character who may look to be level 8 could have been a higher level and carried stats over. And as for how I got the weapon, it was a lucky drop in a ran-geon run that gave me +31 to enemy levels. Got lucky and got a kill, and got even luckier and that dropped. Ran to the nearest exit portal right then and there.

  • @Chronosv2

How do you re-spec the char?

  • @fremy123 Once you've met the requirements there'll be a character in the cave under the "town" that can do it for you. He stands roughly in the middle of the map. You can then pick a new (or the same) class to respec as and the character drops back to Lv1 but keeps some of their stats.

  • @Chronosv2

Ok thanks, so what was your lvl before goin back to 1?

I just got rungeon and it is very random every time xD

  • @fremy123 I can't remember what level my characters were before respec. I've actually done it a few times. And the Ran-geon is indeed very random-- that's what it's there to be. It's still great though. I love it.

  • @Chronosv2 does this game have high replay value because im a person that likes to get everything lol and it kinda anoys me that u dont pick up all the mooneys lol im lookin at psn right now and the newst one they got is blazing souls accelate right now i dont know weather to get phantasy star 2 , this one or the new one thats out but i cant seem to find any gameplay on blazing souls

  • @WaKeZnDrAnKz The game has amazing replay value since you can create characters of varying classes and go through a randomly generated dungeon. Random = replay value until you cap out and can't do anything else. And that's not likely to happen for a very long time.

  • @Chronosv2

    Oh ok ...

SO that means the rungeon is new everytime! :)

  • Oh ok no i haven't gotten it yet. Do you get it in the middle of the game or after you complete it??

  • @GnLeff You should actually get it fairly early. If in doubt, go into the cave on the left side of the map and talk to the little bird things. One of them will tell you that you'll be able to do something cool soon if you haven't unlocked it yet. If you have, one of the bird things will give you access to it. Just keep going through story mode dungeons.

  • Will you get to select to play the Ran-geon. Because i so far im not sure if i was shown the cave cause i've been skipping some cinematics haha. Im a little past the Absolute Zero Dungeons

  • @GnLeff Hit start. Check the bottom of the in-game shortcuts. (Where you can pick Magic Circle, etc.) and if you've unlocked it, the bottom ??? will have turned into Ran-geon.

  • When do you get to use the Ran-geon feature? I can't find it

  • @GnLeff Play through Story Mode dungeons. You'll know when you've unlocked it because you'll be shown the cave under the island. In the next couple days I'm going to start a commentated playthrough of the game if you haven't gotten far enough in story mode for the Ran-geon to open up by then.

  • are there bows in this game.

  • @P3RIDOX No, there are not. There are only swords, blunt weapons/axes and staves (magic).

  • how did you record this?

  • @zon77 I'm using a PSP-3000, the Component Output cable, and a Huappauge HD-PVR. The video comes out a little squished, but unfortunately that's because of how the PSP scales to 720p. Check my newer Phantasy Star Portable 2 videos to see what hours of converting and a few minutes of editing can do to fix that. I just don't have the urge to do it with the Cladun videos because it's quicker just to fire off each 15min episode as-is.

  • I still need to buy this. Love these videos.

  • @TheCodedArm Thanks. I'll try to record some more runs tonight, and upload some over the next couple days.

  • what system softwar do you need to play this?

  • @seanbro33 It's a PlayStation Store release. The only reason someone would ask for the system software version requirement is to pirate the game, in which case I'm not going to help. NIS deserves the money they get from the PSN, especially considering how much financial trouble the company is in these days. $20. That's all this amazing game costs. And it's well worth the money.

  • @Chronosv2 oh i just downloaded the iso and dont know how to play it xD

oh and its hard to find nis america games in philippines x_x

  • @seanbro33 Well, you could alsways import an American PSN $20 card and use it to buy the game legitimately, but you seem to be into the whole PSP piracy thing, so I'm just going to stop there. All I'm going to say is I'm strongly against it, and leave it at that.

    Have a nice day.

  • @Chronosv2 lol :| well said and well done |:

  • @Chronosv2 to be more accurate its only 19.99! there is no tax on the game if you buy it on the psn.

its worth every penny too. now i just need to buy a new psp 3000 so i can PLAY it. is magic good in this game? i want to use ice/water magic lol.

  • @zon77 I like magic quite a bit. Vaera, my custom character, is a Wizard class. So long as her SP holds out she can smoke just about anything. SP runs out though, and that's it.

  • is this english version?

  • @astigs20 Yes, this was the English version, released on the 21st of this month.

  • @astigs20 No, it's the Japanese version. You're just seeing messages in English because some auto-translate features kicked in on YouTube. :3

  • @astigs20 No. It's Uzbekistanian. Just looks like English due to their language being, you know, identical to ours.

    *head thump.*

Of course it's the English version, Einstein. Captain Obvious, AWAY!

  • @Kalenos

You're wrong, it's Molvanian. You obviously aren't educated enough to distinguish languages from one another. Please go get learned.

  • reminds me of kastle crashers but a gba version of it

  • @xxxEmoRinsxxx I disagree with the Castle Crashers thing. Sure the attack animation looks like it, but that's the only similarity. I'd hardly call this a beat-em-up at all.

  • looks wonderfull so is it only online

  • @xxxEmoRinsxxx Nope. It's a PSP game. Mostly single-player, though there is Ad-Hoc multiplayer support. No online though.

  • @Chronosv2 Correction, there is online through ad-hoc, but no infrastructure mode. :p

...your response was a bit mis-leading. xP

  • @Kalenos Online ONLY if you use the PS3's Ad-Hoc Party or XLink Kai. Otherwise, Ad-Hoc isn't considered online-- it's local multiplayer.

  • @xxxEmoRinsxxx After reading one of your comments on another Cladun video, the game can only be bought online over the Playstation Network, though it's a mostly single-player experience, with multiplayer being over Ad-Hoc either locally or through a Playstation 3's Ad-Hoc Party.

  • @flashfactor7 Sorry to hear you can't get the game. I'm glad you find my videos useful, though. I plan on trying to record and post more whenever I can (at least until my attention span fails and I inevitably go "ooh shiny!" and start uploading something else)

  • @Chronosv2 Yea it sucks big time that I can't get it. I'm looking into downloading it to my PS3 and transfering etc. We'll see. Till then I'll watch your videos (Until that shiny object catches your attention lol) wishing I had it . Game really does look awesome.

  • @flashfactor7 Not to worry, with my most recent unlock... oh wow. I don't think I'll be putting this down for a while. Unfortunately, though, when I was trying to do some fun editing for a reveal, the program I was using crashed and ruined one of my Ran-geon videos. I guess I'll need to make a new one, not that I mind. But yeah. That shiny shouldn't come for a while I think. And getting it on the PS3 and moving it to the PSP is a good plan. I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
