I've tried 2 of my pc controllers. both have dual analog sticks. though some of the buttons on my other controller are mapped differently. like x is mapped where circle should be for example.

I have the non rumble and wired version of it and the buttons work correctly, but the rumble doesn't work in any version, i guess.

Logi-tech are a great company and many of there controllers will work on the Ps3,

not ALL Pc controllers will work, (it depends on there button layouts (try the 360 one ;) )

But the Logitech Chillstream is a great pad I use for PC and as a second pad for PS3

I'm pretty sure everyone knows- but In TGS 2007 Sony announced that they were bringing the dualshock 3(sixaxis w/ vibration) around April in America and Japan get's it in November 2, so 2 days from now- or actually 1 day because I live in america. Anyway MGS 4 will be using vibration function as well as the sixaxis, and many other legendary games. Have fun w/ ps3.

you cant plug the ps2 controller into the ps3 directly but you can buy an adapter where you plug the ps2 plug into the adapter then you plug the usb into the ps3 you can find these adapters on amazon hope the information helped

They will release a firmware update to enable rumble for the current PS3 games when Dualshock 3 is officially released in NA next year. But games like R&C and Uncharted that will come out soon will be rumble enabled out of the box.

PS3 firmware has nothing to do with rumble support, it has to be programmed into the game.
