Xaldin is one of the hardest bosses in the game hes one of the strongest organisation members. Mickey can help but the game wont allow u to beat xaldin as mickey even if he had 1hp left.

we got lucky and died like 5 times and each time mickey came (note, this was after around 20 failed battles....) THANKYOU MICKEY!!!! i love anti sora but serioulsy! every time i turned into him for some reason i ended up not being able to land a hit cause he would go berzerk or something and it killed me EVERY FLIPPING TIME!

@jmgdigimon The chance of mickey appearing is pure random and will decrease the more he comes to your aid.

Me having three mickeys after each other is duo to the fact that I never used mickey before in any of the fights so the odds where still relative high. Still in the end its just a mater of dumb luck.

Xaldin isn't really that hard once you know what your doing. I think you have to back off of him time after time in order to not die a lot.

Another tip. Press triangle repeatedly as fast as u can when r-command "learn" appears. This way, I hit Xalden 12 times before I used up my jumps.

@OneTreeTreeSeven1337 No mickey doesn't always appear. To start of he only comes to rescue you at 8 specific boss fights (Xaldin is one of those boss fights).

Then second of all the chances of mickey appearing will drop down every time he rescues you. It starts off with a 100%, but will eventually drop till around the 20%/

The reason why mickey could rescue me so much during this fight was because mickey had never rescued me before during this run. So the chances where still in my favour.

@OneTreeTreeSeven1337 You'll get anti form random. The more forms you've used the bigger the change is to get anti form, using a form during boss fights increases the odds as well.

Anti form itself is still decent. Your attack is really weak, but your speed makes up for that. The only problem with anti form is that you can't heal or leave the form early.

@lukekroll Yeah..Apparently if you don't use the "learn command" and really try the "tank and move" tactic his damage output can possibly one shot you if your not strong enough. He pretty much is a difficult fight. Lucky he didn't have any adds for you to worry about but DAMN. His dps Fucking HUGE! One wrong move and you suffer ALL of those pole arms in your ass!

mickey rescued me 9 times in this battle i found a way to exploit it and so i uesed him for fun...but xaldin had alwayz been the hardest boss for me all the others are pushovers

It took me like twenty millions times to defeat Demyx at Hallow Bastion, but twice with Xaldin (although I did have help from King Mickey ;D). I am one messed up gamer.

@cxr32 It's more or less chanced. It happens or it doesn't. Basically, when Sora became a Heartless, his 'Dark Form' might've been created, or Anti-Sora. Some people also think Riku caused it on Hook's Ship in KH1. Or, it could be from Ven's dark side, Vanitas. No one is really sure, but it's a near-random chance from doing a Drive. The most I've seen of it consecutively was around the final level, but no spoilers! Hope that helped some.

Are you sure that getting Anti Sora is random? Whenever I got anti sora, the area was either darker than it was originally (You know, like when a boss was using a strong attack) or I got hit by a heartless as soon as I activated one of my drives (and by the way, Wisdom's my favorite drive, because I'm better at long range battle than close range battle)

@Zingking1992 Yea its random, i havent played this in years but. You can only get Anti Sora just by basically using your drive too much. Ive tested it out and it works 90% of the time. I went Valor 3 times, then the 4th time i went Anti. But yea use your Drive alot.....i need this game again.....
