Uh, well this looks kinda like a beach with the tide going out. What's that lump of stuff on the right side? It must be quite large comparing to the ocean waves. A shipwreck? dislodged coral reef? don't tell me ufo lol! It seems to have an internal purple glow so I wouldn't totally rule out a crashed UFO, you can see smoke or somthin coming out the side.
Although other possibilities include, but may not be limited to, a Thing-Fish, a Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowing Witch, or even perhaps an infamous mudshark.

lol doh silly. if it was titled NC Nessie and you KNEW that was no NC beach, that should have been the give away considering I did not try hard to hide the fake Nessie as fake. All I did was sit him on a wave crest and not much more. i think the compression on YouTube may have some effect on it cause it is not as obvious here as on my media player straight from original video! there you see the edges around Nessie and here they seem to fade. but also note its an homage to bigfoot hunters...
GREAT eye....it is most certainly NOT even the east coast!!! lol...i took part of a picture a friend sent of the coast up in the north west part of the states and added nessie after flipping to create the east coast illusion. but there was only so much i could do with the hue saturation to look like sunrise instead of sun set...and i was not trying to make it look totally real so it was cool. i think it is so cool you noticed it was NOT an NC beach and wondered if anyone would notice! woo hoo

do i believe? not sure, but i do believe it is possible. after all we found other animals thought to be myths. they found the one that looks like it's part zebra and part something else and the giant boar, the fish thought extinct. so, if some day they found big foot, i would not be surprised. as a human race we would be naive to think we know everything, and yet we tell ourselves we know it all. i try hard not to do that. the unknown and change are the only constants i am sure of!
