I had heard about this video clip but had never actually seen it. I found it hilarious to say the least. Not because of the damage sustained by the statue itself (and don't tell us that it was bolted - we are not morons - everyone could see that it was not bolted - it just slid). What was hilarious for me was the reaction of the people - screams and crying "Ara gorgi taghna x garalu!

The statue was not bolted its not true anyone could see it slided off the base. if it was bilted it wouldnt have slided but hanged and then fell cause of the torque the upper body produces that breaks the bolt (doubt it would happen anyway)
