Even though i havent tried LotRO i would say its the best. From my experience WoW is just about grinding and doing the same quests again and again. Also LotRO´s graphics are better.

Lord of the Rings online has a much better community. People are more helpful.

The game itself is also better overall. The quests are more fun and of course the game looks A LOT better then wow. I really do think World of Warcraft has had its day and just isn't fun to play.

LOTRO has better grafics and is more fun really. WOW is kinda a kids game. it's grafics and gameplay are childish really. LOTRO is more girttey, looks real.

@shaunere2008 WoWarcrap is basically an eternal gear grind with a REALLY bad playerbase and community... If you like eternal treadmills and the typical leet kiddie wanna be by all means, jump in WoW. If you want a nicer community and, IMO, better game, LOTRO is much better!

You can learn how to play an instrument from a bard npc, then you hit your number keys to play notes. Or you can load music files and it will automatically play that song in style of LOTRO.
