very nice! I use a similar technique by dipping an old toothbrush in paint diluted with water, then pulling the toothbrush bristles with my thumb to flick the paint onto the canvas/paper.
me, too. it's so interesting to see how everything's made. it kind of makes me sleepy to watch an artist do their craft. well, sleepy in a good way, anyway. especially painting because of the sound of the brushes. haha. :)
Interesting splash effect! Have you ever thought about putting a blob of paint on the paper and then using something like an airbrush to blow it around some?
This is awesome. It only took him like 5 minutes to do this.

what is that circular object that aided your technique of blowing the paint onto the paper surface?
dinasaur2 1 year ago
@dinasaur2 I think it is called siffer, a cooking tool, but in art store you may find they sell similar stuff designed for blowing colors.

I am having ahard time getting past the usual crew of people who post videos of peoples videos and do not make videos themselves.
Can you tell me if you have a website where your paintings can be seen in a Gallery perhaps???

you basically can not do that with socalled rice paper or shuen paper because it absorbs the paint or ink instantly

Ah, never thought of that.
