I know another way!

Get a comp. book. Get black and what construction paper. Cover the front and back(and inside if you want) with the black construction paper. Then cute out the death note letters and glue stick it on.

That's how my friend made it.

She went to school as Misa-Misa. So to fool around with her(I was L), I wrote down Light Yagami, Misa Amane(falls).

I believe it's okay to make a death note, Just don't write any names in it, EVEN IF IT'S JUST A JOKE! I kid in Richmond, Virginia got suspended from school for that. Second of all Killing and the WANT to kill is bad. If I make a death note, I'm using it for school notes or something serious, not something trivial like writing someones name in it (you probably guessed I think Light's the bad guy in the series, and you're right. Killing is wrong no matter the reason.)
