@alina885 it's a special kind of Kupe'e, it's braided in a certain patterd and then there were the outter shell of a seed, but i can't remember exactly what the seed was called... When men do this chant, i believe they use dogs teeth, or at least that was the Mana'o i recieved
@hulahoney808 I was trying to make out what was making the sound too... at first I thought "are they wearing hala UNDER their pa'u to make the sound?". But the kupe'e makes better sense. And yes, when Kane did this number it was dog teeth they used. WELL DONE LADIES. So great to see Warlike Wahine - since we DID have this tradition too!!!!
