i seriously wonder sometimes if tsuchiya is actually top gear UK's stig....lol. It could be possible for all you know. I haven't seen him releasing anything in JP recently...correct me if I'm wrong.

@tezzquill UK Top Gear stig was Ben Collins, with usually the touring car drivers they use in some of their motorsport challenges when Collins wasn't availible. In old Top Gear, The stig was Tiff Needel, former F1 driver, then they switched over to Ben Collins and Tiff went to Fifth Gear. Now that Ben Collins is 'sacked stig', they brought Tiff Needel back.

Tsuchiya is good, but he's not the stig.

@enigmaPL I beg to differ, but the first stig in the black racing suit was Perry McCarthy. The second white stig is Ben Collins, aka the Sacked Stig. Tiff Needel is who they call the emergency stig, he did fill in for Ben a few times, WHILE ben was still the stig. Nobody knows the current identity of the current third stig, but his times are very similar to Ben's. I'm just curiously voicing out the possibility of non-UK, extremely skilled drivers like Sabine or Tsuchiya being the stig...

That honda is actually tuned. It's a TypeR, and has +20ps over the TRD 86 + the stock sport suspension. There's not much to do than swap the brake pads, really. The problem is the honda way to set up the suspension. It's too prone to understeer, and the driver fights that all the way (left foot braking). If they would've tuned the suspension too (so it'd became more prone to a little oversteer, that is easily handable in a FWD), it would've been a little closer battle...

@JDMdrifterboy7 that's so true... i like both cars. but i think this race is really a driver's race. either car in the right hands will beat the other. but i sort of favor the ae86 more since it's RWD.

If the honda was tuned like the 86, that's what will show us for real instead of some advertisment thingy. Just like when they try to advertise the new ctr fd2r by saying it was all this and that, but later showed some episode of it getting killed by other cars :(
