The sets look CGI like the cat should have been as the movie would have also looked better in CGI with unfunny and uncreative lines, with badly chosen acting as it should also relate a little closer to the book, in which is doesn't bring the same spirit as the book does, The grinch was indeed bad, but the sets looked a lot more detailed and a lot more creative, as for mainly the houses in this movie look so plane and so uncreative that I at first literally thought it was a CGI town.

From someone who's studying scriptwriting, this film would have been saved if they had left out all the crude humour and focussed on the meanings they were trying to convey in this movie. Too many movies nowadays are filled with jokes which just aren't funny.
