For me, the problem with the vast majority of Brit Pop and even bands like Twisted Wheel or Brother is that the lyrics are incredibly contrived and uninventive. Songs such as this for example are not particularly inspired.I mean, has anyone here heard Radiohead, or Arcade fire, or even a halfway house, the libertines

These boy's are great, well at least that "You stole the sun" song sounded really orginal, really pnk, this ones gone run of the mill indie, kinda disappointing.

But to say Radiohead are crap shows a complete lack of taste, Radiohead are a great band and thats coming from a Punk/Ska fan, im well into upbeat fast dancey music and thats not to say Radiohea don't do that (Ok Computer), Radiohead rock the Kasbah.
