Thank you for being humble and informative. I am a nutritionist and I am latina, we tend to touch people. Sometimes people come to me with a problems and I find myself helping them with the emotional as well. I relax and that its helpful because it hep them to relaxed. I've been fascinated by Reiki and other healing arts for decades and began study of Reiki in 2006. After thousands of hours of study, reading, and practice, these were some of the truest insights and simply profound statements about Reiki I've ever heard. Reiki truly is a healing art. Not everything (or even anything) to some and yet a powerful and beneficial vehicle and outlet for others. Reiki as an art, I believe, is the best way to maximize its potential for both giver & receiver.Thanks.

I am reiki 3rd degree and I find reiki doesnt help on a physical level. Ive had headaches, cuts, toothache, etc and never been healed by reiki. If it COULD heal science would have proved it, but its failed every test. I find reiki helps in other ways, and can ONLY help physicaly if theres anything in the ENERG BODY that may be affecting someone. Any comments?

Well, maybe you know about reiki more than I do, and it does make sense that reiki will only heal a physical condition if it is connected to your energy body.

But I'd like to differ that if it was really healing, then science would have proved it already.

I'll give you one example, the Fermat's last theorem was only proven 350+ years after conjectured. Does this mean that for those 360+ years the theorem was wrong? Just some food for thought.

@Goshka if someone recovers from an ailment but science can't explain why does that mean the person hasn't healed?

@LaurieJames maybe the way in which you are practicing Reiki is a very Western version this is more than likely why Reiki is not working on a physical level for you. I have intervened in 100's of case both physical, emotional and spiritual and find great benefits from it on all level's.

be aware that there are a huge amount of Forms of Reiki out there that do not have any lineage to the original and beautiful method that Mikao Usui founded.

I'm a Hurricane Katrina victim & Reiki is what has healed me emotionally. It was extremely traumatic to have your home flooded like that but Reiki has healed me on the emotional level.

I think that's one thing that reiki does really well. No suprise really when their second symbol is the emotional symbol.
