I actually used clear gel, and added ink to it, but I would think already colored gel would work too. Just make sure the color of gel works with your design!
what color hair gel should it be for this to work best?? i would think clear would be best, but i wanted to know if you had played with it enough to know if it works no matter the color or not..
Finally, a use for all that leftover hair gel! Very nice! ;D
