  • You did an excellent job with this, You should def. do trailers as a profession you would be excellent.!!! I really hope they decide to do a FITA remake that would be super!!!

  • Everyone always uses Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, and Lachlan Buchanan....it must all mean something....well, I could only hope it does haha

  • btw the guy u picked up to be chris was perfect. just as i imagined him.

  • i really hope they make a flowers in the attic remake. i dint like the movie but the book was great so i hope somebody does tflowers in the attic into a movie again and captures the horror which was in the book.

  • Wow, that is so weird... I always imagined Corrine as Nicole Kidman (Because of "the Others") and I imagined Chris just like that. Though in my mind, Cathy was as she was in the movie. (The movies SUCKED in comparison to the book, unfortunately) Good job!

  • i have the entire series.. my favorite books EVER<3 :) BTW this is really good :D

itd be awesome if they made a damn remake!

  • i have the entire series.. my favorite books EVER<3 :)

  • There were rumors that they are really making a remake, which would be nice since the 1987 version left out so much... not that I'm dogging the 1987 film.. I love it, but a remake would be awesome!

  • sadly, in some way or another, the ppl who make the films rarely go by the book, so to speak, they always leave stuff out, add stuff, no1 is ever gonna be satisfied, we all have our own minds eye how stuff should look from a book and in some cases the producers want actors that will bring in money even if they look nothing like character, rarely watch films from books, i cannot enjoy them when i see they have taken chunks out..

  • Will there be like a real remake? Hope so...

  • wwow u got a lot to say dnt u....

  • AND DOESNT FOLLOW THE BOOKS OR AND STORY ETC AT ALL AT ALL, PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE BRILLIANT I BEG YOU PLEASE FIX THIS BIG BIG PROBLEM!!!! THANK YOU!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • THIS REMAKE VIDEO IS REALLY REALLY GOODPLEASE SOMEONE GOOD BRILLIANT PLEASE REALLY REALLY DO REMAKE THE WHOLE MOVIE AND MAKE THE SEQUALS TO IN TO MOVIES TOO AND THIS TIME FOLLOW ALL THE BRILLIANT BOOK(S) WORD FOR WORD AND ETC BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BOOKS ARE BRILLIANT, WHERE AS THE MOVIE IS NOW FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC MOVIE AS IT IS NOW IS SHITTT AND

  • Nicole Kidman would make a good evil mother.

  • i think stockard channing could pull of the grandmother roll

  • just saw this too... loved it as well..the one thing every remake idealist seems to agree on is that nicole kidman is the ideal corrine... these are my favorite books of all time and i would agree she has the talent to pull off the many face of corrine and still look beautiful doing it

  • You said Michael Douglas for Paul Sheffield, but wasn't he black?

  • @TheNpcsim hahaha, nooooo, but he had a cuddly fat black housekeeper named Henny who couldnt talk. :)

  • @TalamascaBound Oh, ok XDDDDD Apperantly I need to re-read the book :P

  • I am so enchanted by this tragic story. I am currently reading "seeds of yesterday" I love love love flowers in the attic.

  • @tarathetarantula I can't find any of the books anywhere except for Petals on the wind T.T

  • Sofia Coppola would rock this movie out of our orbit. I wish this was real. Awesome job

  • You know the new Jane Eyre film that came out this year? The style/editing and font felt SO similar to this. I thought that was so cool. Go take a look and you'll see what I mean.

  • you have too much time on your hands...I was thrilled when I saw this trailer. Time waster!

  • Cuando estrenaran esta pelicula???? o ya la estrenaron, no la encuentro porfavor ayudenme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think a series could be better for the book at least they could spead it out instead of put it into a movie and do the rest of the books like that . i dont just mean the dollanganger. ruby dawn and heaven would be great mini series also there sequels

  • i think scarlett johannson would be great as cathy ...i love chris <3

  • @ImPoisonBeCareful i agree completely!:)

  • I loved the book!!! they not only should remake FITA but the rest of the Dollanganger series as well! the movie was OK but hated the ending.

  • I Adore The Book(:

  • i absolutly love flowers in the attic (the book) and when i saw the movie i was very dissapointed.... the two things I hated most were probably cathy's hair, its meant to be long and really beautiful. Also the whole Cathy/Chris thing, its the main part of the book.... it should have been in the movie. I really hope they do a re-make thats more like the book. does anyone know for sure if there is one being made???

  • hahaha i own NOTHING. i liked the trailer. would have made a good movie...

  • i liked the old movie, but the book is waaaaay better....plus the whole cathy/chris romance was cut out and that's one of the essential parts!!!! i really hope they do a better job with the remake!!!! CANT WAAAAIIT i loveeeee the dollanganger series!!

  • I always felt really sorry for Corrine, after you find out how she was raised.

nicole Kidman would make a good Corrine.

but I guess corrine got what she deserved. She was a fool to go back. they would have been paupers,. but better that, than destroying their lives. even putting them in care would have been a better option. money and greed turned her into murderer. if she loved her kids so much, she would have chosen them.

  • I'd pick Angolina Jolie as Corrine. She can pull off the blond look.

Elle fanning as young Kathy, her sister Dekota as older Kathy. they look almost exactly the same imo. and since the book spans over 4 years. a 12 year old looks nothing like a 16 year old.

Cole Sprouse as Chris. they are good actors despite being disney channel.

Not sure about the twins. they'd need mayeb 3 year olds to play them as it begins and maybe 6 year olds to play them towards the end.

  • I really wish they WOULD do a remake of the movie..! the books were AMAZING!

  • looks good damn good this was the first book seroes i ever read i was like 13

  • Flowers in the attic is my alltime favorite movie... you did a great job

  • @always424 If you have read the book Flowers in the Attic how can you even say that Flowers in the Attic the movie was anything but horrible, let alone your favorite movie. There has to be a remake of it. I remember the one time I watched it, I was like I could have made a better version of the book than they did. I cant wait for the remake to come out.

  • I actually laughed at this. And for some reason (even I don't know), I nearly choked laughing when I saw the actor supposedly playing "the grandfather". Why do I find this so hilarious? It's driving me mad, not knowing why I find it funny.

  • Nicole Kidman as Corrine is perfectttttt. I also really like Chris. I wish the director of the Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream would remake this film, he would make it perfectttt. :)

  • I really would wish that somebody would create a movie like the damn book!

  • @Asheka35

Yes, so do I. The film isn't dark enough. it cuts the most harrowing stuff out. and has a bullshit ending.

  • I love the idea of Nicole Kidman as Corrine, and I hope that a new Flowers In The Attic movie is taken into consideration...

  • i wish they would remake the movies :) the books are way better

  • Comment removed

  • at 0:35... 'heartrending' is not a word

  • @Courtoo86 it is, it means basically dispare or anguish

  • @Xxjoseph013xX well maybe I'm being picky but it should be 'heart-rending' then

  • @Courtoo86 yah i guess but either way its still a good faux trailer :)

  • awesome loved it

  • The movie was just okay. After reading Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind, I understood completely the reasoning behind people hating the movie. There was no mention of a relationship between Cathy and Chris whatsoever, and that is the whole plot of the books! I understand why they did it though, because it would ruffle some feathers. I think the film industry will be much more accepting of the true adaptation now than they were 20 years ago.

  • This is just what I've been hopeing for.... a "Flowers in the Attic" remake, thank you thank you thank you, Finally! But, Cory and Carry are twins... so why is it that from this preview, the actor playing Cory looks much older than the actress playing Carry? I was praying that this time around, the actors(kids) would all look as describe from the book.

  • @alottaUtube Don't worry, It's a FAKE trailer. I used clips from different movies to edit this together. As for the remake, we can only hope it's like the book...

  • @DeaneShafortock LOL, I guess I got so excited I didn't even notice from your title that it was "Fake". And it wasn't until after I post, I started reading all the comments and realized that there hasn't been a remake done at all. haha.. Wanted to post again after I realized it, but waited instead to see what u were going to say! Anyway, the boy u chose to play as Chris is kind of hot. ;-)

  • I seen the movie long before reading the book, & afterwards was very disappointed. Do you or anyone else, know if this is on DVD or coming out on cable? It's already passed Nov 6.

  • OMG seriously?! They might remake it?! YAY! :DDD good, because the 80's version is SO BAD. ;___; Good trailer, 'specially the tagline. :)

I think Michael Pitt and Alison Lohman would be perfect for Chris and Cathy, but I don't think they can pull off as two teenagers nowadays, but they're still beautiful blondies.

  • is it going to be on dvd..... hope so

  • Great job! I especially liked the ending with the tagline that on the date "God will see everything..." fabulous! I wish you could do the whole movie!!!

  • omg. i just LOVE your trailer. its believable. its nicely made. i loved it! i love sophia coppola and the virgin suicides <3

  • it will never be as good as the original film, but they both dont compare to the bookn at all. one of my fave movies of all time the original :)

  • Wow this is sooo amazing! I relly thought for a moment: "I'm excited to watch the whole movie" but unfortunately it's "just" a fan trailer :-( You did great!!! :)

  • Ok.......Is this for real?

  • is it real? I really love these books, but I think that the actors are a little old. I love V.C.Andrews

  • I love V.C andrews books soooo much! Does anyone know where to get the movie of Rain with the prequeal included? I'm not interested in the moive... I only want to read the prequeal sooo bad! :) So please, if you know e-mail me :))) and is this really a moive? **i hope so!**

  • I was thinking about remake a long time ago. I like Nicole Kidman, but I thought Heather Lockear would be best as Corrine (mother charater).

  • This is very good! I loved the book but hated the movie. It didn't stay true to the story.

  • מעניין מתי יגיע לארץ אם ביכלל ...

  • I never saw the movie is it a good movie

  • Gena Rowlands as grandmother would be awesome.

  • wow maybe you should just remake the movie yourself...awesome fan trailer totally believable as a real movie

  • wow amazing

  • does anyone know when they are going to make the remake?? and around about when it will come out?

  • That was awsome although I think the movie did have a great cast I would love to see a remake My fav was the Grandma roll

  • god this is so amazing! i love love love IT! makes me fall in love with FITA all over again!

  • i wish they would remake it lol

  • My prefernce:

    Grandmother: Catherine Hicks

    Corrine: Julia Roberts

    Cathy: Lauren Collins

Christopher: The hot main charactor guy that was on The OC

    Cory: ?

    Carrie: ?

  • yes there will be a remake

  • It says on wikipedia there will be a remake to the movie

  • OMG! that was really good : ) i have allways loved flowers in the attic (the book) since i was 12, and when i watched the movie it was CRAP. nothing at all like the book, the actors didnt even look like the characters. Cathy's hair? it was a huge part of the book. I would love to see a remake thats more like the book, are they really going to make one?????

  • okay that grandmother does look scary. what movie is she in?

  • @sadria1 The actress is Diana Rigg and the clips of her are from the TV movie "Rebecca" produced in 1997.

  • i think the absolute PERFECT actor to play Bart Jnr when he is all grown up is Kyle Gallner. he is perfect.

good trailer, but i think the grandmother looks too ind for the part. flowers in the attic became one of my favorite movies when i was about 14 and it still is. although the movie wasn't as amazing as the books, it was still pretty good.

  • wow that was really good. i would love to see your version made into a real movie.

  • I loved it! Great work .... I wish it was real.

  • hey is this gonna be a real movie cause if it is a i bet if you post it hear a director might love it and cant wait for it to come out =P

  • i thourght nicole kidman would be amazing for corrine:)

  • My second FITA remake trailer is FINISHED. But there are a few problems to deal with it before I upload it. I promise it's better than this one.

  • That was awesome! I love your tagline!

  • I actually imagine Cathy to look like Evan Rachel Wood.

  • truth will come out this movie in 2010? and with these actors?

  • This is great! I love the book, the movie, and I like your trailer. I so wish they could really do this! It would rock. Your casting is spot on!

  • This movie really will be in theaters or not tell me, if true, because that would be wonderful please tell me :(

  • i totally agree with every one who says nicole kidman is great doing corinne part. she befits it very well. i do hope this really comes out this fall. OMG I would run, not walk, to the nearest theater. then buy the DVD when it comes out. Ilvoed and read all her books before VC Andrews passed. I wish they all were made into movies or tv series or something viewable.

  • Ha wow looks a million times better than the actual movie!! Nicole Kidman would be so perfect as Corrine.

  • its about time they remake it the way it was meant to be told....thank you for your love of film and book and may they get MANY green lights for vc andrews books, let them not just stop at flowers in the attic.

  • srea verdad esta peli x q el libro sta genial...Q ojala sea verdad...!

  • Good job. The music is beautiful.

  • but corey had curly hair....

  • Hey! BTW if they decide all this, DeaneShafortock, you should get props!

    =-D

  • WOW XD nicole kidman is really similar to Corrine in my mind...

  • Is it really coming out a remake on flowers in the attic???

I loved the book and the old movie and i really want a remake, that would be awsome!!

    Cool trailer!!

  • Even though this was a fake trailer, it was awesomely crafted and favored! Well done!! :)

  • is this movie realy coming out

  • OMG, that'd be a spectacular cast! I hope a remake does come out soon the original was horrible. One of my favorite books, though.

  • REBECCA!!!!!!!! As soon as I saw the house and purple flowers I knew thats what it was from. I love that movie and Diana Rigg of course. She was great as Mrs. Danvers. I just love her. Great job on the trailer. I love The Flowers in the Attic too. One of my favorites. :D

  • @TheSSHG07 Thnx for the compliment. And yeah, the 90s version of Rebecca was pretty good. Not as atmospheric as the Hitchcock version, but still good. And Diana Rigg happens to be one of my favourite actresses. She'd be one hell of a Grandmother if they had remade the FITA movie in the 90s. Alas, she's too old for the role now. But, oh, she'd be A-W-E-S-O-M-E as the Grandmother, seriously!

  • @DeaneShafortock

Diana is my favorite actress too. I just loved her as Mrs. Emma Peel on The Avengers. My favorite show. Yes she would make one hell of an evil grandmother on FITA. I 100% agree. She would be amazing as always. Too bad she is too old for the part if they do make a remake.

  • are they ever going to make a remake? they've been waiting for it to be greenlit forever...

  • @wtflolalex yeah, it annoys me too...why doesn't mgm greenlight it already? they KNOW it's gonna be a smash hit!

  • This is cool. Do you know if this movie will definitely come out this fall or not?

  • @Kellystrong24 sadly, I don't know when will the remake be released. I made up the "release date". FITA was first published in November, though, and VCA was born in the 6th of June. I combined the two dates, thus the release date in my trailer is "6th of November". Yet I would not have any problem AT ALL if the remake was released on the particular date! enough with waiting for the greenlight!

  • Flowers in the Attic is one of the best books i have read in my whole life. Its truely a shocking compelling novel and i throughly enjoyed it. How could Corrine do that?! It pissed me off that a mother would do such a thing! for money!

  • I wish they do an remake of this for real and the clan of the cave bear.

  • nice cast list, and i couldn't agree more with the director! Awesome vid too!

The only thin I'd personally change is Judi Dench as the grandmother and Jesse Spencer as Chris... too bad he's too old for the part, maybe grown up Chris if they did the other books?

  • @Leanan101 Judi Dench would make a good Grandmother in the remake, but, unfortunately, she's too short for the role..the grandmother is supposed to be really tall, and huge, towering over Chris and the kids, making them seem weaker, thus she has them under control.

  • @DeaneShafortock

This is amazing! I truly hope they remake this movie. It needs to be done. I think they should just make the whole Dollanganger series.

  • @Leanan101

truth will come out this movie in 2010? and with these actors?

  • @khusi69 I don't know, I've heard rumors about a remake of Flowers in the Attic, but this trailer, as said in the title, is fan-made about who would be the best actors for the remake if/when it's made.

  • Comment removed

  • ohhhhhhhhh i wish they really remake the movie! V.C Andrews just change my life in a very big way!

  • i loved the book series and i think this would be a great movies series too if hollywood doesn't screw it up

  • y does it hav to b so depressing??(Not just the trailer the books too???!)

  • these books are great!

i saw the old movie from 80's and it's very different from the book,

it will really have a new version this year??????

  • @viridianaguilar Maybe. Maybe not. It was in talks in 2008, I haven't heard much more about it. I haven't read any of the books but the first two are combined at walmart so i'm going to get them soon. :)

  • OK, I've almost finished my second FITA remake trailer and it's actually MUCH better than this one...the second one actually looks like a real movie trailer. I'll upload it when I finish it.

  • Ok, this is a note for the spammers who've driven me crazy - don't waste your time: I will delete any spam shit written over here, like I always do, so don't bother writing comments about your goddam websites.

  • I'm planning on making another trailer for a Flowers in the Attic remake and make it better than this.

  • u should have used christ young msuic not marco's scream music

  • @BRm2008 well I wanted to make a trailer without using clips from the original movie, the score or pictures from the stepbacks.

  • wow, everyone seems to hate the original 1987 movie except me....unbelievable...I do hope for the remake to be greenlit and eventually made, though...

  • @DeaneShafortock If you read the book you'd hate it too.

  • @SweetHeart4563 I READ the book, but watched the movie first. I have a soft spot for the movie inside me cause it was one of those movies that freaked me out as a child. I STILL consider it a good movie because I often view it as a movie on it's own, rather than as an adaptation - that way I don't consider it a piece of shit like most of you VCA fans do....

  • @DeaneShafortock i luv the original and i cant believe they're remakin it!>=( i bet this is gonna suck..there's nuttin better than the first

  • what? u liked the other one? really?

i think it sucked! it was nothing like the book.

    it totally sucked.

  • @clumsy427 i think it waz suspensfull and i luved it this is just gonna b...(fart noises) lol

  • The effects will probably be better!

specially if they stay true to the book!

i mean the other movie was ugh.

it could be sooo much better!

  • @011FunnyBunny i agree. doesn't look exciting.

i don't think a remake would have been good.

the book rocks than any of the movies.

  • @DeaneShafortock i have flowers inthe attic on dvd.. anchor bay

  • @DeaneShafortock Did you know that Wes Craven(A Nightmare On Elm Street, Scream) was originally supposed to direct the Flowers In The Attic movie in 1986? He even had a screenplay ready, co-written by Hilary Henkin, but was eventually removed from the project and replaced by Jeffery Bloom, whose writing credits include the 80's B-horror movies "Blood Beach" and "Nightmares."

  • @44excalibur Yeah, I know. I read the screenplay (which you can find in the Complete VC Andrews website for free, but I guess you know that) and I would love to see how would Wes do it. Jeffrey's intentions actually were good, but he didn't have full control over the project thus he was denied of the opportunity to create a faithful adaptation. Go read what he said at the Complete VCA site, if you have not.

  • @DeaneShafortock Yeah, I thought that though Wes Craven's screenplay was not entierly truthful either I'm positive it would have made a much better film that the 1987 movie. The screenplay was darker and much more disturbed, and equally would have been a lot more succsessful. If the film was remade I'm sure it could be a classic. It's an idivualistic thriller which is just what the cinema needs.

  • will they remake the film??? i totally agree, the original movie i didn´t like, because isn´t like the book, doesn´t have be exactly, but need be very close.

thanks for make this fake fan trailer. congratulations.

  • Yesss. They actually should cast these people. They'd make it a hit movie! I was just watching the first movie.....I honestly couldn't even finish it. It SUCKED

  • i wanna watch that..the new version

  • omg!!!! awesome i loved it !!!

  • very nicely done. good without giving away the plot. this makes me want to reread the book. (my mom has every single v.c. andrews book out)

  • I really wish they would remake the movie ( the movie now is good but it would be nice if they added in what they had taken out)

  • Well I like the trailer but I prefer to read the book (that is what I am doing)

  • I wish someone would remake it..'cause the movie suck!! it didn't get along with the book!!!!

  • Nicole Kidman si quedaría de mamá... ella es muy bonita.

Y me encantó el trailer! :D

    Congrats!

Ójala fuera verdadero ); por que la verdadera película apesta!

    Good job!

    Loved it!

  • omg I loved it!~!!!!!! great job!!! I wish soooo bad they'd remake it!!!!

  • Could you please tell me or give me the link from where you have the video of the rose part at 1:09? That would be so great, cause I would love to have it without the text through it and the fade out!

  • Type "Salvat Secretos VC Andrews" in youtube and you'll find it.

  • the book is really good. i heard the movie is a bit cheeze

  • if clive barker directed a remake of this it would be bonified badass

  • Loved it!

  • after watching that I kinda wish someone would remake the movie. the book is completely demented, I'm sure some director would have a lot of fun with it. I like who you picked for the cast also =)

  • waiit are they actually remaking it i know this is a fan trailor and great one but are they????

  • @sadlydogscantfly YES, they ARE remaking it...go here for more information... go to the Complete V.C. Andrews website, go to the "Biography and More" section, click movies then go to the FITA remake page. All the updates and news so far are there. Start from the bottom and move to the top reading them...

  • thanks!!!!! i hope it stays true to the book

  • @DeaneShafortock According to the site, there is an update on this at the V.C. Andrews page at facebook . . . check it out.

  • Thanks for all of you who liked my video. I am planning in remaking it, using Sony Vegas. I hope I start such a project one day...oh and I'll need ideas for movies from which I could use clips to build the "remake" video, e.g. movies with blond children, gothic mansions, evil old women, that sort of stuff.
