Gears of War is a classic, no doubt about that, but Gears 2 and Gears 3 are better games in my opinion. The sequels really added depth to the overall plot, the characters were given additional backstory, the gameplay was refined and improved (although basically the same) and the action sequences got bigger and more exciting. If anything I think the series got better and better with each entry. Great series with a great conclusion.
@mrwhite21 this is the first game I played that had that active reload thing, so I also didn't do that until after I beat the game twice both on easy and normal, I was like "huh.. what I never noticed that?" now I do it all the time, and I ain't dumb, but I think this is the first game that has that and I wasn't used to it back then. now on every single game with a slow reload I try to find out if there's an active reload thing in the game.

i just got an xbox the other day and this along with alan wake are gonna be my 1st games. coming from a ps3 i'm still not used to my xbox yet but now i'm lucky enough to get the best of both worlds.

I've watched a couple of this guys vids and I've realized that he never mentions the PC. For example in this video he calls Gears a 360 exclusive and in the Riddick Reviews he only mentions the consoles versions.

PC gamers play Gears of War 1 because its the only Gears on PC, and people dont want to get an XBOX 360 when they already have a really good PC that can run games on very high settings. Gears 1 textures on maximum is better then Gears 3 on XBOX. PC gamers have incredibly better aiming because they have a mouse and keyboard. You have a joystick. There is a MATURE community on PC. Not like all them 10 year olds on Xbox.. The PC community is not Noobs, you guys are.

@Zipst700 Actually I'm not a PC Fanboy. I have about 15 consoles from the Atari 7800 to the PS3. You said it's better on 360, but didn't defend your argument. You said community doesn't matter, and the graphics are *almost* the same. I'm up for an argument, just defend your statement. And on top of that why are you being so harsh? What made you think I was a PC fanboy? I was just saying the PC version is superior, albeit slightly. It's just like making the statement that Doom 3 is better on PC.
