@SunSmileShine Females who go to parties and get drunk to fun. Some think it's "mature" and it doesn't make them any more mature or any less of someone who wants to be someone they're not. I hope I cleared that up.
"I'm sorry, that's not love, that's vomit" I love that line and the stuff that leads up to it :D
I love this whole poem, when I first heard it I just kept snapping my fingers because these lines are just so awesome. I only wish I could have seen it live. I can totally relate to this (I know a bunch of girls like this Popular Girl except all of them are self proclaimed). I wish you would post more poetry because your really good at it.
years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand;sorry i didnt want that happening to me
That's appreciated. This is over a year old and I've always hated this piece. Ha, I get punked into performing it over and over. I agree it's very thin and that's a fair statement. I've grown alot since this piece.
Also, in response to the Wakefield comments: Yup. I totally bit his style for a long time and it's one of those things I hate to hear. I have to much respect for the guy to pretend I wasn't heavily influenced by him. I've done my best to shake that off of my more recent pieces.
That's good to hear. Good poets develop year in, year out. I have no respect for poets who never want to improve.
Tho i like wakefield too my personal hero is stephen dobyns. It's good to get as much as you can from different poets, then lead your writing in your own direction.
Are these all women who turned you down? (Maybe they senses you have venus/mars issues?)
Where are the "monsters" and "losers" who are male? More males wind up in prison than women and more men than women abuse children. Such animosity is not good for your immunologial system or society.
thanks for the dopness in this comments section. Glad you all like it. check the music at: myspace. com/criticaltheoryRR or peep the album at: myspace. com/worstbreakfast
