  • Brillient video, its good to see an open minded and logical view, and your right about words don't mean much in and of themselves. I am celtic reconstrictionist pagan, and i believe certainly when i talk to the gods that the words do not matter, it is the feeling you communicate and i find the gods talk to me in feelings as much as words, and usually images and feelings.

  • the word evolution concept is really interesting thanx! how old are you? very intelligent, any opinion on the relation of chakras to magik to chi?

  • I'm a Christian Eclectic who practices Witchcraft to attain assistance from the Divine (Heavenly Creator)... I believe in the Holy Trinity of the Christian religion, but I don't practice Christianity in any way except praying to GoD and being thankful & appreciative of what I DO have... I read up and blend in standards & beliefs of other religions. I don't feel Pagan, however, because I don't call directions or elements, though I put Elemental Jars around me to mark the circle. =)

  • I love watching your videos. I am a christian, however, I've noticed that many times pagans and the practices of pagans are misunderstood. Thanks for posting! :)

  • Hello. I Strongly believe tat those who follow the Native way is the right way. Check this out:

Indo native Europeans believed in One God that came in 2 forms In the summer A HORNED God with elk/Moose/Dear Antlers. In the winter This "World Spirit' (Its what the call it) would Turn into a woman with branches of trees for hair. This Information dates back to 8,000 years ago this is 4,000 years older than ANY Religion. (Native Americans are descendants of Indo Native Europeans) )O(

  • I like what one of my friends does with her kids regarding "bad" words. She calls them "adult" words. That way her kids understand that saying them doesn't make someone a bad person, just someone who has enough responsibility to use them. Also, everything about words: so true!

  • Love the sunglasses, lol. They make you look so young. I agree with what you say about words, the intent behind the actual word is more important. I do not believe that the gods are offended by words like ''pagan'', ''heathen'', ect. I don't think they care very much about how we describe ourselves as long as we are good people. I however dislike the title of ''witch'', just because the media's portrayal of witches has absolutely nothing to do with me. I love being an eclectic pagan.

  • I agree with you about all this 100 percent! And words ARE just words! I use naughty words too and my girls will repeat them and we have the same talk with them about using them, because I do not want them to get in trouble at school by having them repeat it there. :) Great video!

  • yes your vids are long but i can watch em lol cuz they are great

  • This was awesome I'm glad you posted this. I love your view on this topic.

  • Great response! I am always excited to hear an educated response to something, and it doesn't hurt that you agreed with me in your response (*wink*). I made my answer right away at the beginning, then found myself nodding as you spoke, you even gave me some great new ideas to think about. Thanks for a great post!

  • @avastone2 Thanks so much!

  • While I am a traditional wiccan in a coven, I think what separates us from "eclectic solitary's" is knowledge and training. We are not "cunningham insta-witches" and we study for years. I feel a person can be wiccan and solitary but they must dedicate themselves to learning and a lot of it! Most I find are lacking in this area and there eclectic beliefs are far from wicca as practiced by Gardner, Valiente and many of the other early leaders of the craft...

  • @gaforrest Though I can agree that training and secretive knowledge separate the two, I don't think it's fair to pass that kind of judgement on another's path, or to refer to them as "insta-witches" (though I do know some people do it to be "cool" or for show). It's thinking and judgement that turned a lot of the people seeking this path off to Abrahamic religions. All the answers come from within, though specific practice may differ.

  • Great video Charlie, I am glad that I watched it all the way through :)

  • Oh cool- you're one of my fave PPpeople, regardless if you're a newbie sub or not, so I'm happy to see that you're going to address the topics on your own channel.
