salt is bad for dogs, sugar of any kind can be bad for dogs and you want to feed them potatoes!!! that has an awful lot of starch and starch is trillions of chains of glucose!!! is just like candy to a human. did your dog die from it?

@sangimaria So sorry to hear that, Parvo is one of the biggest killer in young puppies.

Always vaccinate your puppy when he is around 8 weeks of age. Although even Vaccination does not guarantee a 100% safety but still there is some level of safety.

Parvo is a virus and can spread from an infected dog, the infected dog can leave the traces of virus in its saliva and stool etc and if a healthy puppy comes in contact with the infected dog or its left overs they get the virus. Avoid other dogs.
