the show was over and they were done, but green day just kept playin and the team were lucky enough to have on camera that was still on..you can see the studio man do handmoves in the begining to get the other camera on. Maybe thats way they don´t have so much "energy" as usual

This has never happened in live tv before. Just shows that green day is the best band ever and that they love to play their music.

well it IS a tv show taping, not exactly a concert venue. i'm sure not everyone was there to see green day in particular too. there are strict rules for watching TV show tapings if you haven't been to one.
