  • I like trurtles

  • you know, this guys is fucking smart!

  • wow america made almost everything and in WW2 they suked and now we rok wierd O-o i hav Silent Hunters and its dam hard i dont get it how to use mechanics

  • man, way to go steampunk!

  • Heil American ingenuity!

  • Respect!

  • hehe that guy must have liked the video i like turtles :D

  • cool name!

    turtle!

    1st submarine!

  • WTF THEY GOT ADS!!?!?!?!?!?

  • complete bullshit thats y they changed the layout of the indavidual channels so they could have ad space, previously the layout wasn't capitalism friendly

  • didnt he put de charges?

  • If you have even a hint of claustraphobia do NOT get in a submerged Submarine!! Those guys are extremely brave and resilient who spend months at a time under the sea. Submariners are a special breed of person, most people don't have a clue...

  • he gave it a name, turtle!

  • Now that could be the ultimate sub, give it a tiny electric motor with no sound. No noise = no signle on sonar, and very small so they cant really blow it up. If they make it out of a light material, fit it with some oxygen tanks, fit it with a drill that could drill though ships, fit in a tiny Nuke that the Russans used with there Nuke gun then it could be the Ultimate ship killer and am being serious!

  • hava look at german subs. a german sub kidded a whole US task force and "sunk" in the end its air craft carrier and was able to evecuate afterwards

  • Thats nice.

  • lol good idea are you a evil genius or something? :)

  • Hell yea, LOL.

  • not me but it needs small diesel electric to vanish

  • one problem: its not very stealthy to radar also the fact of very little oxigen(a very few short hours)

  • czesc!

  • why not use the shell in like an oversised grenade launcher, but with more range?

  • @amapolishplummer Boats like this are already on the drawing board if not already viable - but with large non-nuclear payloads. You can't use nukes. period. it opens you open to a M.A.D response. Noone but retarded politicians discusses small scale nuclear devices these days, aka the people who think it sounds cool, but dont think of the consequences.

  • I got this idea from the Nuke gun...

Little nukes are fantastic, amazing power for little space.

Also how could they know which country destroyed your ship... Plus would it even matter if a Nuclear bomb was used instead of a HE bomb, as it would make basicly the same effect?

  • @amapolishplummer

You could work it out. People aren't stupid they generally know who's shooting at them.

And using nukes is VERY different from other weapons. As I said it could invoke a M.A.D. response. look it up.

  • Well lets use America as an example, if a submarine like the one i said earlier blew up a yank destroyer, how would they know which country blew it up? North Korea, Iran, Russia or Pakistan? Plus the water would make it close to impossible to know which country's Urnaium/Plutonium substance it is. And in the Cold War they used Nuke guns and that didn't make America go all Haywire did it?

  • @amapolishplummer noone has ever used a nuke gun on the battle field.

period. And major countries don't go around firing weapons & def. not nukes at each other without long build up of tension before hand.

When prey tell was the last time state of the art weaponry was used and noone knew who used it???? I can't think of any examples in all of history of the top of my head

  • @neverfearchrisishere Yes they did, they fired it something like 3 times until they gave up on extening the range.

And yes you cant think of any examples because there isnt examples so far...

But if there was... Thats a whole different matter...

  • @neverfearchrisishere you been watching 'when the wind blows' ?

  • Germany already did that. A sub powered by Hydrogen Cells.

  • @cassius969 Did what?

The mini sub or the nuke?

  • @amapolishplummer just the silence of the hydrogen cells. No nuke and not very widespread due to cost

  • @samauripizzacats101 I don't really understand what your trying to say?

  • @amapolishplummer

Sonar doesn't work that way. It shoots noise out and listens for echoes. An echo would be produced from the sound bouncing off this small ball.

  • @scud830 But the material can absorb the sound and therefore not give back a echo....

  • @amapolishplummer the japs are way ahead of u , they had tiny kamikaze subs running on similar principles like u described, launched from larger attack subs against american ships

  • @CaptainFluffy6644 But they weren't designed for stealth, more to out run the enemy fire.

  • that would only work for passive sonar not active.... ships dont use active sonar to protect themselves for subs... but if this a small one then they can just use active sonar...... a better idea would be to use fuel cells which use electric motors... and so are quite and some european countries are using these...

  • @sabsucs What did i suggest?

  • @amapolishplummer LMAOOO who said they dont have that right now LMAOOOO

  • @silver911surfer Who said they did?

  • @amapolishplummer If they did would they even tell you???? HELLLL NOO, you know how many wepons they have that they dont talk about n dnt use?? if u had that type submarine lol u probably wouldn't tell nobody too lol????????

Today there be no use 4 a drill for a sub battle matey but if u got a submarine pick me up n we chill sometimes ight

  • @silver911surfer Mate, what the fuck are you talking about?

  • @amapolishplummer hum hum... do you know how a sonar operates? it work with sound reverberation, not actually listening to the sound :D

  • @jumpdownacliff New passive sonar works by listening to the sound in the sea.

So yes, i do know how it works.

  • @amapolishplummer sonar doesn't read objects by sound, its like echo location, and there no such thing as a nuke gun and you cant drill through a steel battleship hull and electric motors are in efficient and cant stay under water for long periods of time. if it was a good idea than the US would have them in service. we have badass silent nuclear subs instead.

  • @lordvader5246 You're a bit of a mug. This idea of the top of my head is a ship killer. You can drill though steel hulls and electric motors are good with large batteries. This is not meant to stay under underwater for more then 5 hours. And yes there is such a thing called a nike gun, look it up.

And i don't think the US navy would have taken this idea seriously, and also Russian subs are better.

And last of all, echo locations is basically a massive idea going back to the first sentence.

  • @amapolishplummer Nuke gun*

  • lolz I was born in sept. 6 :P

this is awesome, didn't know sub's were that old :o

  • How about this as an idea, he could've instead attached specialized cannons to the sub and attack with those. I mean, why didnt they think of that?

  • back than they weighed far to much.

  • No, but like mini cannons that aren't quite Muskets

  • awesome!
