  • Greiling essentially stated that emotions constitute an "illness". Unbelieveable.

  • I had massive Depression and then started taking Zoloft - My depression went away ! So if they want proof im walking in the proof .

  • nami is full of shit. i am appalled by nami, as you should not label nor judge people. this illness mentality is morbid and depressing.

  • I agree.

  • The guy makes fair points. No research to back it up. Get the research before they pass the law.

But I think that's what everyone agrees on. If being objective.

  • I believe it will help you to better understand this complicated situation if you search "ADHD false epidemic" and watch the video titled "ADHD: a real disease and a false epidemic."

    Thanks

  • need honest help are the ones who are copping the brunt of it.

And I'm done, you can go back to your lives now. :)

Don't take drugs kids. Illicit or prescribed, research it and find out what it does. If you make the mistake and it changes you, you will have to pay for years and years. Some people don't come back from it.

  • what they have done to the mental health arena and the medical profession in general - the willingness to search for that quick cure, the unbelievable shortsightedness of men with 9 years of research and a PhD under their belt, and the refusal to listen to the cases and the patterns that emerge, the wave-aways of single extreme cases as nothing but an anomaly and no reason to research further. It's disgusting. The medical profession has become steeped in apathy and skepticism, and people who

  • And to single them out is inviting trouble. Serotonin deals with sleep, appetite, the endocrine system, the communication between neurons, the general level of emotional function, NOT just depression or happiness, and we do not know enough about it or any other brain chemical to be making such a leap. Science is a gnomon, don't ever think it knows more than you do. Think for yourself, find out for yourself, use your logic to come to your own conclusions. These things have to go, and by extension

  • You ever HAD faith in humanity! :P

It's first line treatment for depression, which is keeping the problem going. The point is that depression is brought about by and kept going by, in most cases, thought processes and nothing more. And it can only, EVER, be reversed by thought processes. The one or two chemicals they target, serotonin & norepinephrine or dopamine, do not solely control the behaviour of the mind or ones' state of mood. They are factors, nothing more,

  • The chemical imbalance theory is just that a "theory" it is far from "fact". The concequencies of it a are monstrous. No longer do these people look for rational reasons why someone would become anxious or depressed, that dosent even come in to question at all. Anyone suffering from emotional distress will simply be told they are genetic freaks, they have a chemical imbalance, and their only option is to take dangerous powerfull drugs for the rest of their lives. This needs to be changed, fast.

  • Wow the drug companies are paying rappers to do commercials now.. Watch you stupid sheep follow what they want you believe is cool.. HA suckers, and dumb sheep.. I have no faith in humanity any longer.. For people who aren't suckers search psychiatry truth.. the rest of you are pathetic drones not worthy of any respect.

  • ssri's introduce the chemicals to the brain...we dont know what normal brain chemistry is! This is a pharma/psych scam!
